For Tenants

You are a tenant in an apartment building. Like many other tenants in Switzerland, you share the laundry room and drying room with your neighbors. The washing times are allocated using a list or Excel with fixed days. Unfortunately, this doesn’t fit in with your current life. Because when you want to wash it is not possible and during your blocks you have to work or are absent.

Lavaresi changes this as follows:

  • There is no longer a fixed washing schedule
  • A calendar day is divided into 2 or 3 time blocks (e.g. morning, midday, evening/night)
  • With the app, you reserve a block of time that suits you, and only when you really need to wash.
  • This makes better use of the existing infrastructure and minimizes stress among neighbors (and additionally to the exact house rules, there is often an unwritten law that evening slots and weekends are kept free for those working away from home).
This is all wonderful and results in much less stress.

Talk to your landlord

It is best to talk to your landlord or send the link https://lavaresi.ch/for-landlords/ so that you can inform him/her about Lavaresi.

Landlords usually cover the costs of this service, as it offers many advantages to the tenant:

  • There is no longer any need to create and revise complex washing schedules.
  • Everything is very simple when tenants change.
  • Landlords receive a great deal of data on the exact use of the infrastructure. This makes it very easy to see where the appliances are being used to capacity and where they are not. Investments can be made in a very targeted manner. Costly investments that are not needed can be avoided.
  • And last but not least (and this is the most important thing): The tenants are very satisfied and the laundry room is no longer a war zone.

Lavaresi offers landlords a 1 to 3 month free trial installation for an entire apartment building. This allows everyone involved to get to know Lavaresi.

And from mid-2024, all usage billing can also be handled simply via the Lavaresi app.
